A Drop in the Bucket

In 2013 I came home from living in South Korea and started preparing to head out on my World Race journey. I was in the sometimes daunting task of support raising, and I remember mentioning to God “If you’re calling me to this than I’m trusting you to provide”…and I felt him saying it was a ‘drop in the bucket’.

Fast forward over four years later and I still have the sometimes intimidating task of ‘support raising’ as part of my life. Yet, after 4 years of it God is continuing to provide as he promises.

Each year I get to be a part of training hundreds of missionaries we send out around the world, including four different times in the year I go overseas to debrief and train a specific group. It’s a sometimes taxing but incredibly rewarding job!

October – training camp

November – Guatemala

January/February – Colombia/Ecuador

The coming months are filled with some incredible opportunities and I have had a lot of faithful supporters help make it all possible. A huge THANK YOU to all of you!

Right now I am still in need of some help. Our fiscal year ends at the end of September and I’m still $800 short of my support goal.

My desire is to close that gap and also find people willing to commit to monthly support moving forward. Are you perhaps one of those people?

Asking for support can be hard, but inviting people to invest in the Kingdom of God should never be.

  2. Daniel – you are a winner! Anyone who knows you knows that you are called by God to this work and that you are excellent at it!
