As they say about all good things...my time at Adventures is coming to an end.
Over seven years ago I signed up for a World Race trip. Launching in January of 2014 God used that trip to shape the trajectory of my life. I never would have expected to join staff and be blessed with so many great years of pursuing God's kingdom.
I will definitely miss the travel and experiences...but most of all I'll miss the people. The people I worked with on a daily basis in Georgia. The people I supported on their World Race trips. The long-term missionaries serving around the world. The people I encountered in all the countries I experienced.
The people. I've experienced a deeper understanding of God's love and design for mankind through the people of the past seven years.
Now, it's time for a new journey. Thank you for everyone who has blessed me so deeply. My faithful supporters, my lovely co-workers and all the people I've been able to journey with over the years. Many of you left imprints deeper than you know.
My last official day at Adventures in Missions will be on July 3rd.
My new chapter takes place in Charlotte, NC.
On July 13th I'll be starting a new job at Vanguard. My degree was in Financial Planning and I've always felt in my heart God would open up a chance to move into the industry when the time was right.
With record unemployment and all the uncertainty in our economy I feel blessed to have not just a job to transition to, but one I'm excited about.
I want to help people steward their resources well to pursue their dreams and continue to bless those around them. This job opens up a path for that dream to happen.
We've already transitioned to the Charlotte area as I wrap up my time working remotely. It's a lot of change and uncertainty for Stephanie, myself and our dog Zoey...so we welcome your prayers as we start a new exciting season of life here!
Thank you for being with me for the journey! My door is always open if you find your way through Charlotte.
