New Role, Same Heart

If you are reading this you have probably kept up with at least a little bit of my journey over the last few years. From teaching English in South Korea, to a year and a half of mission work with the World Race…a lot of my life in the last couple years has been spent serving God outside of America.

I am excited to announce a new season of my life!

I have accepted a full-time position with Adventures in Missions and will be moving down to Gainesville, Georgia!

This January I helped launch and lead the first ever World Race ‘Fusion’ route. A route created to invite international participants into what God is doing through our organization. The first squad is currently in their 10th month in Belize and will be coming off the field at the end of November!

My new title will be World Race Fusion Coordinator and Squad Mentor. So what does that mean? Although I am based in Georgia, I will be helping train and mentor the squad throughout the year as they take part in their ‘World Race’. Guiding leadership decisions, personal development and being a resource for them to lean on as they go through the challenges and joys of life on the mission field. This will include a few trips a year to spend time debriefing and in ministry around the world with the squad!

I will also be helping develop and grow some of the different innovations of the Fusion squad, as we hope to steward this vision The Lord has invited us into. As I prayed about this next step, it was clear this is where God is calling me next. To be honest, I had reservations and reminded Him about them. I didn’t want to support raise again. I wasn’t sure about living back in America. Yet despite any reservation I had, I felt the peace in my heart that can only come by listening and following His call.

Part of my responsibility with my new position will be raising financial support. In the next 12 months I will need to raise $14,000. This will help cover a portion of my salary as well as the time I spend on the field training and mentoring the squad.

I am praying for people to come alongside me and invest in the work I get to do in young people’s lives and around the world. Although a one-time donation is perfectly acceptable, I am hoping people will be able to commit to monthly giving. If 60 people can commit to giving $20 a month it would cover all of my financial support!

For the price of one Starbucks coffee a week you be a part of incredible work for the Kingdom of God. Awesome stuff!

If you feel lead to financial support me just click on the ‘Support Me’ tab on the left hand side of the screen, or message me for more details!

I am excited to see where God leads! I am excited to be a part of pouring into and investing in the lives of my generation from all over the world. I am excited to have a job that will stretch and challenge me, where relying on God for direction is my only choice.

Thanks for all the support and encouragement…and to all my friends in America, looks like you might be seeing a little more of me in the immediate future!
